Our bungalow was built in the 1950s, and there was a lot to do to pull it into this century, but after a meeting with Hugh Allen (MD Bruce & Co) he carefully took note of all the work we wanted, from a beautiful block driveway, decorative walling, wonderful sandstone steps (cut and skillfully curved) through to a stunning new entrance hall. . we really love it, and when we are in the front garden we get so many comments from passers-by, some even knock on the door to ask who did the work, several of whom have also contacted Bruce & Co to see what they can do for them. Bruce & Co., came in and renovated much of our period home in Cooden Drive, which included replacing the whole the roof (using recycled tiles to ensure it was in keeping with the property) , removing unwanted giant chimney stacks in the house, installing new boiler and central heating system, new lighting throughout, building 2 new bathrooms, replacing all the old doors, and much more!
